You sure know of them already. Like, once when I had no units I couldn't move or take damage in the next fight for some reason. But what I would like to see is: easier selling (by clicking eg), an ending, maybe showing that you get the reward money after defeating rouges a bit more obviously.... all these details could make this already very interesting game to one of the best.... please don't do something completely different or ignore it, you're on the best way.
The following things kept the game from being perfect: Units don't stand at one place when sent somewhere so only the first one attacks enemies, no inteligent movement (the other ones approaching when enemies show up), nothing showing how many units selected, units walk when clicking in the build-menu if they are still selected. *breathe* ...annoying alarmsound.
The two-side-defense is a good Idea, but it's too hard for beginners I think, and for people struggling with everything mentioned in the last paragraph (me). I love building-games, this one here is great concerning that. Please make the next part(.) - with a training mode to test out everything, or with a mode where only one side attacks. And please optional things like bigger unit-healthbars, less complex unit-animations (if that affects the lag). Better menu-control would be helpful as well, and maybe a build-meter which is always visible.
Do you want to shock all of us pro-players? I had to play two-handed! ...In fact I had to relearn the whole game (I never was able to win doubles or anything nit in F2Jam or DDR-standard-style)... But I did it! Aside from the pretty standard-looking style (maybe because you just used different font colours) and the fact that this is no longer original ist was very well-done.
As short as possible: Everything was cool, Nothing disturbed or went on my nerves, every player needs to read nearly every dialog in order to finish the last part of the game, the graphics and characters were amazing! Animated while talking, not only pictures of them! ... I'll stop it here before I have to change my pants...
No really. I liked nearly every coolio-game aside from this one. The graphics were far under the normal standard, the songs were everything but cool and the timing in the DDR(and whatever else)-like level was painfully wrong sometimes as it was only possible to play it hearing the sounds. Of course no one plays it looking at the arrow-row but that was just not possible even if I wanted. This one just had all the other game types in it so there is nothing special about the style. And... no, I did not unlock the last one.
None songs didn't impress me much (and that is why the sound rating isn't ten, there is no problem about the music), the only good songs I heard were the one at the sound rating and Say Something.
When the harder songs began and there was at least one step per beat I I still got some too late-s. This seems to be your fault (ahahah) with very little timing errors, often the quality of my stephits went from perfect to too late no matter how well I hit. And: The damned songs were all too easy. You could at least have made some additional songs. In Stepmania none of your songs would have gotten more than 5 or 6 of10 feet, including the lame key pick with the SSB-remix (from wherever it was remixed when it came to SSB).
The music is just overused, so no full score, and it was just too small to deserve tens in the other categories. But I very liked the "gravity" and reached 25000 at first try. You could of course put in some dots with weirder movements.
I liked how the menu-music changed later most ^^
Very good you've set so much stuff you keep the player busy for a long time. I liked it somehow but can't exactly tell you what made it so much better than else stuff ^^ A sped up version or something would be nice. Fav.
And that's why I gave you a 9 in Violence, but that means nothing. The Starcraft-zerg-defender had the major problem of always too little Energy to use even the first skill (or you made the game to be played completely different from my way...).... but this here fulfills all criteria to get an everything-ten-review.
Nothing to improve, maybe you want to make a version with extremely low graphics for the poor slow-computer-players, but this here is perf.
Why is the Rythm-collection called "rythm"? It could ve named after you as well as you make up the biggest parts of the category. This is a very-improved vresion of F2JAM, what I like most is that your timing improved so much I could even play it through without having to restart a single level. Maybe you should make Songs for Stepmania.
Btw I like the games like this here much better than the run-and-avoid-ones.
Its actually called 'rhythm" but alright XD Im glad you enjoyed the game, and you have no idea how long it took me to sync those. Keep a lookout for V2,
Peace,

Extremely great, 50k things to improve

Easy but well-made

Good and small
